FAQ

Getting Started

What is semi-private training?

Semi-private training gives you the coaching attention of personal training with the energy of a small group. Your coach leads the session, adjusts the workout when needed, and keeps the group small enough to actually coach.

Do I need to be in shape before joining Atlas?

No. You do not need to be fit to start here. Atlas is built to meet you where you are and help you move forward with smart progressions.

What happens during my first visit?

You will talk through your goals, training history, and any limitations. From there, a coach will help you find the right starting point and walk you through what training at Atlas feels like.

Can I try Atlas before committing?

Yes. The best next step is to talk with a coach so we can recommend the right first visit and make sure you feel comfortable before jumping in.

Training Experience

Is Atlas only for athletes?

No. Atlas is built for people who want great coaching, regardless of where they are starting. You might train next to someone preparing for a competition, a parent getting back into exercise, or someone learning to squat for the first time.

How many people are in each session?

Groups are intentionally kept small so your coach can pay attention, give feedback, and adjust the workout for the people in the room.

Will workouts be customized for me?

Yes. The session has structure, but your coach can adjust movements, loading, pace, or volume based on your goals, ability level, and how you feel that day.

What if I have an injury or limitation?

Tell your coach before training. We can modify movements, choose appropriate progressions, and help you train around limitations when it is appropriate to do so.

How long are workouts?

Training sessions are 60 minutes.

Community

Do I have to be a member to attend Atlas events?

Some community events will be open to everyone, including run clubs, outdoor workouts, charity events, and camps. Membership will not be required for every way to get involved.

Do you offer youth training or sports camps?

Yes. Youth training is part of the Atlas plan, with coaching focused on confidence, coordination, strength, and athletic development.

Can I bring a friend to an event?

Yes, for open community events. Atlas is meant to be a place members can bring friends and family when the event is built for guests.

Still have a question?
